Didn’t like the retinol in oil thing. I feel it’s better to mixed it with cream or serum than direct on skin. There is lots of better retinol products than this one .

Love how lightweight this oil feels on my face! Absorbs super quickly, as well.

Soft and hydrated skin

My skin feels so soft when I wake up and it looks hydrated. I have dry and sensitive skin. I've tried stronger retinol before and it made my eyes swell up. this is super gentle and I can even put it around the eyes. It is very thick and doesn't have a nice smell but it's not intolerable and once on you can't smell it. I use two drop and warm it in my hands then in spreads better. My skin has never looked or felt better in the morning and all my dry patches are gone without needing exfoliation.

Not safe to use

Very bad very bad smell My face was on fire on I first used it. Then I got a bad headache right after every after I wash it off. This is not safe. This is very bad

Super gross!

I used a sample of this and it is maybe the worst product I've ever put on my face. It was such a thick bad smelling oil and it wouldn't wipe off. It's like that oil buildup that gathers on the cupboards near your stove - thick, bad smelling gunk. I am horrified.

Received a sample and smells like rancid oil. Even worse it made me break out. I threw out the rest.

Received this as a sample and upon first impression i can’t believe this is a product for the face. I don’t know if mine was just old and turned rancid, but it smells like actual canola oil or something worse. I know it has no added fragrance and it isn’t meant to smell “good”, but it genuinely smells so odd that I feel a bit afraid putting it on my face… idk about this one. The ordinary retinol is much better in my opinion and I am a bit disappointed as I used 100 of my points on it, but lesson learned I don’t recommend this product to anyone with sensitive skin

smells like rancid cooking oil. feels gross smells gross, save ur money and get a retinol in a formula that’ll actually absorb into ur skin instead of this mess

Best Retinol I Ever Used

I love this oil so much. I've been using the Drunk Elephant retinol cream for years and incorporated the oil into my routine a few months ago, layering the products together gives me such good results and is gentle enough to not cause irritation.

Does not absorb well into skin.

Results are wonderful, but the greasiness of it makes me not reach for it. It sits atop the surface of the skin and I don’t love that.

Great for dry skin

I’m really glad I got it. My skin is improving a lot and the smell is not very strong. Definitely worth it 💗
