Very nice all day long color

This is a terrific palette for daytime looks. Its true that the pigments aren't very saturated, but I was looking for a good value, all purpose palette for daytime and this doesn't disappoint. I like it so much I'm going to check out the pink palette. So if you want dramatic nighttime looks, this isn't the palette for you. But if you want something versatile, subtle but still buildable, I'd recommend this palette.

nice colors

I waited for this for a while so as soon as i go the email it was back in stock i snapped it up the bronze palette, the pink looked nice but thought the bronze would look better on me. I must admit im a sucker for a whole face palette. The shadows are very nice like the versatility of having matte and shimmer shades you can create a lot of different looks. The blush, bronzer and highlighters are nice too. I think this isn't going to give you a dramatic look it's good everyday palette. I really like it.

Yes to the eyeshadow side of this palette only.

Was really looking forward to receiving this palette, based on the review. Unfortunately, it seems like I will only be using the eyeshadow part of the palette (which is what appealed the most to me in the first place). All the eyeshadows (mattes and shimmers) are buttery and smooth, and the pigmentation level is medium. I would say that the shimmers are kind of muted but I don't really mind that since I have plenty of shimmers for a more impactful look. I see this as more of an everyday palette with a possibility of transitioning into nighttime (if needed). To be honest, I'm almost tempted to just cut off the other part of it because it's dead weight to me lol. I found the bronzer to be patchy and way too deep and orange for my not even that pale of skin (I would categorize myself somewhere between fair and light). Plus, it was patchy and didn't blend well. The matte blush is very blendable and pigmented but the color was off for me. I was hoping it would be more of a dusty rose color (going by the picture online) and it turned out to be more of a coral pink in person. The second blush is basically a pink highlighter with a golden shift - no thanks. It might be very nice for someone with a deeper skin tone though. And the highlighter was not bad, but again, it's as if all the powders in this palette lean orange in some way which I'm just not a fan of at all. Also, this is the type of highlighter that will sit on top of your skin and will definitely accentuate any imperfections. Basically, the powder side is for someone with a deeper complexion and perfect skin, IMO. But 4 stars for the eyeshadows! Very nice, very easy to blend, no mess, no fallout and the shimmers pick up well with a natural brush so you don't need to use your fingers. P.S. This palette is manufactured in Italy (if anyone is curious). I personally find that with Sephora Collection shadows, I always have better luck with the ones made in Poland or Italy (not China, those are too dry).

For full disclosure of my experience and results with this palette, each day I used it I applied it over Tatcha Liquid Silk Canvas primer and Hourglass eye primer. Product was always set with Hourglass setting spray and always applied with Hourglass brushes. I ordered the bronze palette which came with 8 beautiful nude eyeshadow shades, blush, bronzer and 2 highlighters. Blush blended on effortlessly and just a little went a long way, as did the bronzer. I was able to complete my contouring with the bronzer very quickly. The eyeshadows were not chalky at all with about a midrange pigmentation. I actually found that the lighter shades had a better level of pigmentation than the extremely dark shades, as bizarre as that sounds. In my early forties I am trying to slowly move away from liquid liner and use eyeshadow as liner for a softer, subtler, more blurred, smoky look. Using an Hourglass liner brush, I really, REALLY had to build with the darker shades to establish the look of liner. I used “overexposed” as the base lid and brow-bone shade, “cray for greige” on the outer lid, “cocoa show” in the crease, “fortune teller” on the inner lid, a touch of “blinding” on the outer corner and “marginal” as the liner with just a touch of “stormy sky”. Once it was done the shades all worked great together and looked absolutely fantastic on. “Glam it up” is my favourite highlighter shade and I had no issues with this showing up. Picked up the light really well and looked beautiful on. I had no issues with creasing of any product throughout the day. I wanted to really abuse this makeup to see what it would do so I watched a movie in my hot tub. Even after that level of humidity it didn’t budge. Still looked awesome. This is the absolute perfect palette for travel. Bring a little moisturizer, primer, concealer, mascara, lipstick, this palette and a mini setting spray and you’re all set for anywhere. Love that the shades have enough range to move from day to night.

Update to my last review : I decided to return the pink one and purchase the bronze one. The colours in the bronze palette look a little lighter in person than online, and when it arrived in the mail I realized it perfect for me. I will use almost all of these shades. The shadows still are not super pigmented but they are buildable. I've been looking for the perfect travel palette for a while and I think this is it!

Full-sized and versatile

Wow! This is a great buy. While it is not purse-friendly, it is definitely good for travel as it combines eye shadows, blush, bronzer, and highlighter. I love the color range and can create a nice office look or a more smokey night look. I’m really glad I bought this.
