Wont't Stay Red

Red is my fav colour and I was excited for this one but...just after one wash the colour faded a lot! So much colour came out that I wondered how much dye was actually going on my skin...

I wish I read the reviews before purchasing because the red dye definitely bleeds through! I got it all over a towel when first washing my blender and dabbing it dry. I also (stupidly) still used it on my skin afterwards since I was running late for work and had nothing else to use, and to my surprise, the dye was still rubbing off on another towel even after I rinsed the blender thoroughly. Really scared of what this is going to do to my skin

Dye washes out!!

Worked great until washing. Dye was starting to wash out right away. Not impressed

Bought this on a whim to try my first real beauty blender and now I understand why no drugstore blender could ever compare. I own multiple blenders from all kinds of different cheaper brands including the real techniques sponges and they don't come anywhere close to a real blender. This sponge is so incredibly soft and does an awesome job without absorbing a ton of my products! I read through some reviews saying that the dye was bleeding a lot and I had no issues hardly any dye bled and the color is still a gorgeous red - I would 100% buy this again. It smelled amazing out of the package and the soap is equally amazing I almost can't wait to get another!

Runny dye!

I’m so sad! I was super excited when I saw this was being released and I purchased it right away. At first I didn’t see anything wrong but after washing it the red dye started to run and still does after months! Every now and then I pick it up to give it another go but I’ve had to discontinue using it as the red tinge it gives my makeup isn’t going away. I did give it two stars, however, as it introduced me to the solid blender cleanser which has become a staple in cleaning my beauty blenders and other makeup brushes.

Dye washes out into makeup

I was so excited for this because it's a great deal and I love the solid cleanser more than the liquid one. However, super disappointed in the end. The red bb is adorable but the dye washes out EVERYWHERE. Including your makeup. It leaves liquid foundations tinted with pink and using it for baking basically made my setting powder set pink as well. This could have been an amazing deal if they had put more thought into the use of dye. Don't buy this unless you want to look like Peppa the Pig.

Beauty blender works just as well as any other one I've had

Red dye is pointless

This is my first beauty blender and I really like it (the cleanser works great, too). I can't wait to see how long it lasts - hopefully long enough to make it feel worth splurging. Nice that it can be used to apply multiple kinds of product. I would give it 5 stars but the dye runs out like crazy! Looks pretty ugly now. Hoping the original won't do this if I repurchase.

Good product but not worth the price

I've been putting off buying a beautyblender for so long because of the price and finally bought this kit so I could try the sponge and the cleanser. I washed the sponge thoroughly before use and so much dye came out. Fast forward 3 weeks later and there's still a bit of dye that comes out every time I wash the sponge. The BB sponge is also much harder to wash than my RT sponge, both with the beautyblender cleanser and normal soap. However, the BB sponge is much softer than other sponges I've tried, but application is comparable to my RT sponge. Overall, I don't think I'll buy a BB again. It's just not worth the price.

Pretty good

The dye of the beauty blender runs out every time I wet it, which is slightly concerning. But besides that the beauty blender and cleanser both work effectively.

Makes colour fade and changes the texture of your beauty blender. Yes, it gets the job done... but so does Dawn!
