Favorite lip gloss/lip oil! This product is so good, but the 05 California sunshine is my favorite shade. Perfect alone and perfect over all my lipsticks. The tingle is great! I want every shade lol.

The best gloss/oil

It’s the most comfortable and non sticky gloss (very glassy) I’ve ever tried. The plumbing effect is awesome. It does have a slight spicy sensation on lips but it’s not something unbearable. Maybe my lips are not sensitive? Its longevity is one of the best too especially in the gloss/oil category. Just wish they’re more pigmented. I already got a second color before the sales ended. Love keep using it.

Used this lip gloss several times! I did not like it at all, I can not recommend, very unpleasant sensations on the lips. Unpleasantly waits. And the lips turn red above the contour.

I am a SUCKER for new lip products. Let’s be honest, the last 8 months have been the year of the lip. But hear me out… this one’s different. It’s so freaking luxurious on the lips. Love it!

It really works and it definitely burns. And I swear every plumping oil smells like your lips are burning off. But it definitely plumped up my lips and smoothed out the wrinkles!

Beautiful but smell is horrific - immediate return

The color is GORGEOUS and the formula feels great and looks great… but the smell is horrid. It does not smell fruity but almost rotten or like milk that’s expired way past its date. I thought it was just the testers in store but it was not.

Burns & Smells Bad

I really wanted to love this but the burning is way too intense and turned my lips red. The product also has an unpleasant smell- hard to describe but not good. The packaging is beautiful, I’ll give it that.

Color & case are pretty but the tingling is a pass

TL;DR: The color and packaging are absolutely gorgeous, but, unfortunately, the tingling that comes with this plumping lip oil, although much less intense than other similar products, just isn't for me.  WHAT I LIKE: * 44 Nude Lavalliere is such a pretty, soft, nude pink shade * Packaging is beautiful, luxe * The tingling feel of the plumping ingredients is much less intense (and not stinging, thankfully) than other similar products (but see comments below) * Can be worn on its own or as a topper AREA(S) FOR IMPROVEMENT: * Would prefer if the plumping effect could be had without the tingling (though it is far less intense than other similar items on the market) FYI: * 9 shades in the initial release for this product, with 2 different finishes - 5 shades have a high shine finish, 4 have a more shimmery finish * Has more of a tingling (vs stinging) feel - it's not intense but you will feel it. I started noticing it about a minute after I applied the product & smooshed my lips together.It doesn't hurt but it also doesn't feel comfy. It lingered for less than 5 minutes. The intensity is more noticeable than the Lawless plumping gloss and less so than the Fenty plumping.  * Gives a bit of an appearance of fuller, plumper lips.  * There are other plumping lip glosses / lip oils available that are less expensive and offer more product. That said, this YSL plumping oil is on par, price-wise and size-wise with the Dior plumping gloss (though the formula, being an oil, is thinner, slicker than the Dior).  BUY, BUY, BUY or BYE-BYE?: * If there's a shade you love and you don't mind the tingling sensation, then this will be a BUY for you. While I find the tingling from the YSL to be something I can tolerate if I wanted to, it's not ideal. Since there are other lip plumpers that don't tingle at all, this will sadly be a pass (or BYE-BYE) for me.

Staple in my routine!!!

WOW!!!! This product is amazing. I’ve used lots of lip plumpers before like buxom and lip injection but this won me over so much. The burn is not intense and the result is stunning. I love the color it gives me and the smell isn’t too strong. Beautiful packaging and the applicator is great. 10/10 Received for free from influenster but would definitely repurchase

Fancy Lip Oil

I really loved this lip oil, thick but not sticky. Provides a semi sheer wash of color - doesn't burn or sting like most lip plumper's. Very similar to the Dior Lip Oil. Would repurchase

Extremely Painful Experience – Avoid it!

I wish I had known this lip balm contains pepper oil! It’s honestly one of the worst product experiences I’ve ever had. As someone who’s allergic to spicy food, applying this balm caused an immediate burning sensation on my lips and chin. My lips started swelling badly, and I’m now sitting here with an ice pack on my face, trying to ease the pain. This is a terrible idea for an ingredient in a product meant for soothing lips. There was no clear warning about the pepper oil either, which is incredibly irresponsible. If you have sensitive skin or any kind of reaction to spicy ingredients – do not use this product! I’m in agony and just hoping the swelling goes down soon. Total regret.
