The applicator is great but I’m not sure if the formula changed but this last purchase was different. It smudges and gets all over my lid. Not cute, will not purchase again

Not Waterproof & Smudges Everywhere

This eyeliner was a huge letdown. It drags and feels sticky when applying, making it difficult to get a smooth line. On top of that, it smudges like crazy! I have oily, hooded eyelids, and within an hour, it had transferred everywhere. Despite the "waterproof" claim, it melts off so easily. If you need a long-lasting, smudge-proof liner, this is not it.

Perfect brown shade but could be more opaque

Until Rare Beauty makes their signature liquid liner in brown, this will be my go-to. It applies with no goopiness, but the pen dried out quicker than I expected. I almost wonder if it’s better to buy the mini size — I do that with mascara because if it’s going to dry out before I can get anywhere near finishing it, then why buy full size? My other nitpick is I wish the color was a bit more opaque. I have to fill it in a couple times because it fades a little when it dries.

new but NOT improved

VERY DISAPPOINTED! I have been using this product for several years and have loved it. The “new and improved” version smears and smudges everywhere and then I cannot get it off. I want the old version back. ld

good, not great

Great alternative to a liquid "well" type liner. I prefer the brush tip vs a felt tip. I wore the brown and it was very neutral. only critical feedback is when I wore it with out eyeshadow, it did transfer onto my lid.

Not the same

The formula has changed! I loved this product for over a decade. Never failed to impress. Stayed on so well you could’ve complained about getting it off. But with the right cleanser that wasn’t a problem. Now it’s trash. Not as pigmented, not as smooth, runes when it gets wet. So Not Waterproof! I even think the application tip has changed. It’s

Dry formula

I used to use this liner in highschool so I figured I would re buy it but honestly mine was dry and when I have to go over the liner it either removes itself or it is streaky :(

Always and forever a staple in my makeup routine

I wear this product everyday and wouldn’t go without it ever again. It’s perfect. Stays on for hours even if I sweat a lot and I always put my hands on my face but even then it doesn’t budge. Perfection!

Bold and precise

I love this liner because it’s so easy to work with and you don’t have to do a lot of “coloring-in.” One pass usually does it. I also find that the brush tip is much more precise than the felt tip liner.

Bring the old formula back!

This is so disappointing. I used this liner exclusively since its release. I read the reviews saying the new formula was bad. I still bought 2 new ones hoping maybe some people had gotten an odd bad one. No. The reviews were correct & accurate. The new formula is dry, it flakes, it smudges. Nothing like the old product. This is worse than a drugstore product. You’re better off with a NARS liner.
