Long wear without the dried out lips!

When I first used this I was surprised by the texture and feel of it on my lips. It has a soft matte which I love, it always helps give lipstick that staying power it needs. But unlike typical matte lip primer, this was not overly drying. Of course it does dry down but it doesn't suck all the moisture out of my lips throughout the day, like most lip liners and other treatments can. It also had a decent color/shade to the primer; great for those days you want a subtle "no makeup", makeup day (when you want something on your lips but anything would seem like "too much" for what you want). I was actually really surprised by its hold and staying power, I actually forgot I had it and lipstick on and had a pen in my mouth while typing a document and there was very little transfer or smudges. Im not the biggest lipstick wearer lately so because of that, id need to be regularly wearing lipstick to buy this for myself but when I need to prep my lips for long wear lipstick ill be reaching for this. My only draw back with this is the lack of hydration. It doesn't dry my lips out like I said but it doesn't really offer any moisture and I get very dry lips I find. So it does over emphasize dry lips in my opinion but lipstick does that as well. I was lucky enough to receive the Nudestix SPF Lip Primer in exchange for my honest reviewand I was pretty happy with it

SPF + lip tint is a win-win!

It's so hard to find lip products with SPF AND a tint, so I was so happy to receive this product to try since it has both! The tint is nice and subtle, and the package is perfectly slim as well. I took a star off as I don't love the consistency and application of the product - it's almost like it sits on top of my lips, so I have to apply a thin layer since it feels like I'm spreading it over my lips instead of it being absorbed. However, I will likely continue to purchase it for the SPF and tint - I would recommend applying a thin layer of lip balm first to help with moisture.

Small and handy nourishing lip tint!

I love this lip primer! You can wear it as a lip balm as it is very nourishing or you can layer it with lipstick or lip gloss. It is very versatile and I also love that it has a natural tint and SPF included!

Gets the job done

I got this free product to try in exchange for my honest opinion. It was a neutral colour that works on its own or under any colour you would like to put on top. I liked that it has spf as well as hydrating properties. I only wish the product was just a little thicker consistency but overall it works well and isn't sticky or anything

Nudescreen Lip Primer Review

I had such high hopes for the product as I love the NudeStix brand. All ads I had seen for this lip primer made it look like a beautiful, thick, tinted SPF that would be easy to apply and be semi long lasting. However the formula is soo watery it made it hard and messy to apply. I also found that it dried down very fast, leaving a dry and patchy look on my lips that did not wear well under lipstick.

Took too long to dry

I found the product to a very long time to dry down enough to apply lipstick overtop, and didn't meaningfully improve the color or staying power of my lipstick. It went on easily enough, but the drawing feature for me was the spf.

Multipurpose Lip SPF with Tint

I am so excited to receive this to try and review, it did not disappoint. At first, I thought it would be ashy considering there is SPF, but it is tinted like in my picture. Don't be fooled, although it seems quite pigmented, but when put on the lip, it actually isn't visible and matches the lip colour very nicely. You can choose to leave it at that, or in my case, put a layer of lipstick over it and it glides smoothly. I love the fact that it provides SPF as I wholesomely believe that our lips need sun protection just as much as any other skin. The only beef I have with it is it isn't waterproof and rub off easily, however, that also mean it doesn't require much effort to remove it. Would definitely buy it again when ran out.

I loved this product!

I love everything about this primer. Starting with the packaging which is 100% biodegradable and I loved that. The primer has a simple but effective applicator that makes things easier. It doesn't have a weird smell or taste like the one from another brand that I tried a couples months ago. So extra points for that. I also like how it makes my lips soft and moisturized all day. It also makes my lipstick last way longer and I only had to retouching it once in 8 hours

Would buy it again

I loved the product to make powder pigment hold on my lips. Does an amazing job but my lips were dried up quickly even when using the product alone

I would use this product on its own for sun protection. It also added moisture to my lips.

This was a great base for you lips or just to wear alone. The SPF is an added bonus

I was surprised by how much I liked this product. I don't have an extensive makeup routine and so I've never previously used a lip primer, but I'd definitely keep this in my routine. I'm discriminatory when it comes to texture, and this product is moisturizing without being sticky or greasy. I tried it both on its own and as intended, under lipstick. In both instances, NudeStix lasts for a long time. The tint was apparent coming out of the tube but not on my actual lips, and it didn't change my lipstick colour. The only thing I noticed that's a "negative" (barely) is that it increased transfer, but only because my lipstick is normally very drying so it lasts. The lipstick still stuck around enough to last my entire day and then some.
