I used this shampoo my scalp is turned dry and itchy need to go for a doctor. 😭

Super soft

Hair feels super soft and shiny. Only need a small amount, hair feels and looks hydrated and soft. This brand my go to shampoo and never lets me down, you do pay for the quality of the product

I miss magistral

Kérastase is my go to brand, no other delivers so consistently with their shampoos masques and styling, however when I purchased this I expected it to perform in the same way as my beloved magistral shampoo but it’s no where near as moisturising. With the old shampoo I hardly needed to follow with conditioner, with the new version my hair feels thirsty, it’s not as stripped as some people have experienced but it needs a deep condition - also it strips the colour from my hair which I guess is the SLS - I’m going to try the new premiere shampoo when this is done ,, fingers crossed

Love Kerastase but this product isn't it

Unfortunately new formula is extremely drying and it left my hair in worse condition. My hair was in perfect condition before. My hair started tangling and it got very dry and brittle.

Hair snapping at ends! Hair feels like straw.

Let me start this review by stating that my hair was in PERFECT condition before using this shampoo. I take very good care of my hair. At first I had a pleasant experience with this product which seems lightweight, but that was the calm before the storm. This shampoo is so protein heavy and so stripping that it made the lower half of my long hair in particular become like straw. My hair started snapping off like crazy, even when brushing gently from the ends with my gentlest hairbrush. I'll need to get at least 4 inches trimmed off because of this product and I'll lose all a lot of my progress in growing out my hair. I noticed this product got reformulated - I usually have a great experience with Kerastase and this product is not the usual Kerastase quality. It does the opposite it says - it isn't hydrating and it leaves hair so dry. I recommend approaching this product with major caution and pay attention to if it makes your hair brittle - if so, discontinue use immediately.

Doesn’t seem to be a good fit for my hair

Been using this shampoo and conditioner since December and don’t feel like it does my hair any good. The conditioner doesn’t leave my hair feeling soft, my hair still feels quite dry. Dissapointed

I have used Bain Magistral for many years and several times my hairdresser has commented on the fact my hair was in good condition. I am 65 years old now and am extremely disappointed. My hair is dry and staring and developing a straw like quality and given the price of this shampoo I feel I should be refunded. A very poor quality product the standard of a supermarket one

Disappointing Formula Change

I recently tried the new formula of this shampoo, and I have to say it's a major disappointment. The change in formula has made it horrible. It used to be my favorite, but now it leaves my hair feeling greasy, and it doesn't clean effectively. I used to recommend this shampoo, but I can't do so anymore. I hope they reconsider their decision and bring back the old formula that worked so well. I wish I could get my money back.

Perfect for dry medium hair.

I have medium-thickness hair strands that are increasingly dry as I age (I am in my late twenties). This is the only shampoo I have found to adequately clean and moisturise my hair. When I use this in conjunction with the Lait Vital conditioner, I don't need to use leave-in products or hair oils afterwards to keep my hair moisturised. I use this in the winter and Bain Satin in the summer.

New formula

Loved KERASTASE in the past but this new formula is awful. My hair is like straw, no shine and so much frizz. Extremely disappointed.

Shampoo

Takes a small amount to lather my hair, and didn't need to do more than 2 washes. Works well with the conditioner.

Not heavy!

I've tried many different hydrating shampoo in the past, but all of them makes my hair feeling greasy and heavy, this one isn't, don't feel like I have to rinse it for an hour to get rid of the foam, not stripping my scalp or my hair, and feels lighter and more nourished after using this shampoo for a while, I know the bottle looks tiny compare to other brands but don't let it bother you because this one goes a long way, and works so much better, I pour it in my hand and massage it into my roots, and rinse it off after, works great with my thick dry hair. Absolute love.
