Let me start by saying I used to use Clarins self tan all the time-about 15 years ago, and loved it! It had a nice brown color and was never patchy. Unfortunately, they must've changed the formula because I was really disappointed with this version of Clarins Milky Self Tan Lotion. Despite following the instructions carefully, I didn’t see much of a color change at all. The lotion was easy to apply, quickly sets in and had a nice light scent which was nice, but ultimately, it didn’t deliver the tan I was hoping for. If you’re looking for a noticeable tan, this product might not be the best choice.

Save your money

This product got high reviews that is why I bought it because of the reviews. Well its is streaky if you use it heavy and if you use it lightly you barely see color. This is nothing special about this product, you can save a lot of $ buying Jergens brand does a much better job. Very disappointed.

It doesn't stink! My search is over!

This stuff is amazing. I have a very sensitive sniffer and I finally found something that I love to use. I love the way it goes on smoothly and moisturizes my skin. The color seems to last for days. Well done, Clarins. I have a new fave!

All time favorite

My favorite self tanner! I hate very strong scents and though this one has a mild scent it doesn’t make you smell for several days like other products do. No streaks and I use a little of regular lotion to spread in, will last a solid week.

Great coverage and easy to put on, great for dryer skin. This my favourite self tan product for my skin.

Natural tan for fair skin tones

This is my to-go self tanner. It applies smoothly and doesn’t make my skin feel gross and clammy. With proper exfoliation prep, I’ve never had a single streak. I would imagine it would be too subtle for medium or dark skin tones, but for pale people this results in a perfect glow!

Amazing golden glow with one application and never any streaking (and I don’t use a mit). Gorgeous, hydrating cream with a lovely fragrance.

Streaks horribly =( always loved the cream for face and body. Got this one when couldn't find the Clarins formula I usually use. It was awful and made streaks!

beautiful glow

This stuff is amazing! I use it on my face. I put it on after exfoliating, it dried down nicely and within a few hours it developed. Left my skin feeling SUPER soft too. and by the next morning I was glowing. I washed my face in the morning also and it was still tan! I have sensitive skin and I didn’t break out from this like I did from the tan luxe stuff. This stuff smells soooo good too- nothing like tanner. Love this stuff!!!

Smooth and sweet-scented self tan

Lovely medium brown colour which lasted around a week, smells nice and pretty even coverage on the whole!

Expensive but worth it.

It’s like a moisturiser to apply and soaks in easily. No biscuity smell.
