The true cream - moisturizing bomb

J’adore cette crème que j’utilise par dessus mon retinol ( tretinoïde .5 ) J’ai enfin trouvé une crème très riche qui ne bouche pas mes pores. Je la recommande fortement.

Expected better

The new formula has ruined a previously wonderful product. It’s full of irritants and burned as soon I put it on. I’ll save you the math - the average rating of the non-incentivized reviews comes out to about 3.4 stars.

One of the best creams i ever used for my dry skin! Fragrance was not irritating at all and cleared my skin. On my third bottle now

MIDWEST WINTER MUST-HAVE

For reference: I have oily-combo skin. I live in the Midwest and this moisturizer is a MUST for me during the winter. I’ve used it for two winters in a row now (I usually switch to a moisturizer with SPF in the summer) but I just found that they have the aqua moisturizer with SPF so I will be giving that a try this summer!!

5 Stars, but you don't need it

Here's the non incentivized normal review. My credentials: Makeup artist of 7 years and a drag queen (So you know it has to work). It's a moisturizer. That's all. You don't need it. Why 5 stars? It does what a moisturizer does. That's all. Your drugstore water cream does the same thing.

I needed a new moisturizer after moving to a more humid climate. As someone with dry skin who didn't like the sliminess of COSRX/snail products, I wanted something that matched my former favorite, Weleda Skin Food, due to it being too thick for my new city. This moisturizer has been the best of both worlds. A little goes a long way so this lasts me a while, which makes the price tag more bearable.

I love this moisturizer so much and it has worked wonders for my oily skin! Not too heavy and rich but not too lightweight and drying. It spreads so easily and keeps my acne prone from breaking out and reducing redness.

Splurge, It's Worth It!

After years of inexpensive drugstore moisturizers, I decided to treat myself and try this product. Wow! It completely repaired my skin's moisture barrier, which was weakened due to retinol, AHA/BHA, and dry winter weather. I have not experienced any breakouts or clogged pores. The product has a pleasing yet subtle citrus scent - I enjoy it but if you don't like fragrance, that's something to watch for. My only other note is that this is quite heavy. It is great for wintertime and those with dry skin, but I may transition it to my nighttime moisturizer during the summer because my skin is oily.

For my dry skin, it's incredibly hydrating, lightweight, and leaves my face feeling soft and refreshed all day long.

BRING BACK THE OLD FORMULA

I’ve been using this for 8 years, well that was until they changed the formula recently. Now this feels like any other average cream. Before it was special. It also breaks me out now. My skin loved the original formula. Why “fix”something that isn’t broken??
