I have PLATINUM blonde hair. I love the regular oil and got this bc I never pass up an opportunity to keep my hair bright. It left purple patches and streaks in my hair. Terrible for the bright blondes. I returned it. I never return anything.

Toning Nice, But Oil Not the Best

I purchased this oil hoping it might be able to replace my Olaplex 7. I like the purple. Hoping it might give me an added toning. It does there but it is not as good. Currently I am adding 2 drops to the other

Fantastic for dry, coarse gray hair

I have frizzy, dry, gray hair and I absolutely love this purple oil. It works best for me when I put it on when my hair is still damp, as I found putting it on after styling left my hair feeling a little heavy. I have hair that falls below my shoulders and I only need to use 1 pump of the oil so a bottle will last a long time. Without this oil, I find my hair looks coarse and dull. I'm glad there's a mini size now so I can take it with me when I travel.

I feel like I’ve noticed a difference in my hair, for sure less brassy between salon appointments! Can be very heavy tho so if you have thin hair a little goes a long way. Would love to see this in a light version

Love it but the it leaks product

The product itself, I LOVE!! But my issue with the packaging. I bought the smaller size for travel in my bag that is constantly standing upright. The lid, that screws on, leaks out the product! I have to have it in two different and separate small plastic bags!… it’s ridiculous. I hope they improve on this. Because this isn’t cheap

Better for preventing brass NOT toning

I was hoping this oil would tone some of the brassiness in my hair. It didn’t do anything in that regard, so I imagine it’s more for preventing brass (caused by the usual yellow hair oils). I’ll have to stick to my Purple Olaplex shampoo for toning (it’s the best shampoo I’ve tried yet). I was surprised at how heavy this was compared to other oils. I have long, thick, coarse, wavy hair that soaks up hair oil like a sponge because it’s so dry. I usually don’t have issues with hair oil causing greasiness, even if I use lots. Surprisingly, this oil wouldn’t soak up all the way and caused my hair to look greasy when I applied it generously (like I usually do with other oil). It’s possible that it looked extra greasy bc my hair was unwashed, but I normally don’t have that issue when I add oil to my unwashed hair. The second time I used it, I had much better results when I used the oil on freshly washed hair, and I used less than I normally would. So, I would use sparingly, even if you have hair like mine that doesn’t get greasy with oil. My hair turned out super soft and silky in the end. I used several products when blowing out my hair, but it was the Moroccan oil that made the biggest difference.

Definitely recommend this product for damaged hair! This is great for nourishment and softening texture. Definitely buying again. This product saved my hair.

GET THIS FOR YOUR HIGHLIGHTS

I am a brunette with subtle highlights and a money piece who has always hated purple shampoo/conditioner. I LOVE this product. I put one pump in my hair before I style my hair (give the oil the time to fully absorb/dry into the hair). My hair comes out looking straight out of the salon every time, and keeps my blonde looking fresh. I highly recommend this product if your hair doesn’t hold toner very well!

the product is good, but pump did not work on last two purchases I was able to transfer to old regular morrocan oil bottle, but they need to fix this issue
